On his way to school,a 10year old mischievous boy stops, everyday at a rich bungalow. He used to irritate the giant dog tied inside the gate. He throws stones at that dog and when the barking sound reaches to its peak,he runs away to school. When he returns from school,he irritates the dog again and runs back to home. ( he is as mischievous as the boys of that age)
One day, the big dog gave birth to puppies. when this boy was onto the school, he stopped at the big gate to irritate the big dog. But he was so happy to see the cute puppies inside. He put his bag down and opened the lunchbox and threw his biscuits,which his mother kept,him to eat. A puppy ran towards the gate to have those. He took out the puppy and played with it.As he saw his school bag lying down near the gate, he remembered that he has to go. He left the puppy inside gate and ran so fast to school to reach by time. And in the evening, he went to play with puppy again. But the big dog didn't allow him to stay. It's barking sound irritated him. He ran to home. He slept the whole night thinking about a name for the puppy.
He decided a name. This time , he took his friend to the bungalow to show the puppy. The puppy ran towards him and he picked it up and said it he gonna call it with the name "COMEBACK". His friend gave him a strange look. He said he don't want the puppy to be called first with it's name and then asking it to come back again. His friend laughed. He called it "COMEBACK"and it waved it's tail. He left to the school and he was active all the day,waiting for the long bell. He ran as soon as he heard it ringing. He played with COMEBACK and went home. Soon the COMEBACK has become his lovely pet. As the days passed The big dog didn't bark at him as he stopped irritating it.
Every mornings and evenings were incomplete for him without COMEBACK. It used to wave it's tail to convey it's happiness for the snacks he bring. Of course COMEBACK loved him too. It would chase him and it runs when he chases it. It use to lick his shoes,his hands and he use to laugh,pampering it.
Everything was okay for few days. But one day,the richest man of that bungalow has sold that puppy. This poor boy came from school and looked for COMEBACK. He couldn't see it. This time the big dog was mourning badly. He couldn't see COMEBACK anywhere inside the gate. Next day morning,while going to school,he bought biscuits for COMEBACK. He couldn't see it. He left home with tearful eyes. His tiny heart couldn't stop crying for COMEBACK. He cried and cried. He looked for it. He searched for it. Time is too slow at his sadness. For the next few days, He would hold the gate tightly and shout " COMEBACK, please come back".
But it never came back.
And since then, he is no more mischievous and the big dog never barked at him.
